Reviews and Ratings
Celebrating my husband's 40th birthday was a memorable experience at this hotel. The room was fantastic with lovely furniture, a brilliant bed, and an amazing view of Lake Windermere. The super king size double bed and luxury walk-in shower with a fabulous rain shower head added to the comfort. However, there were minor service issues and the dining experience could be improved.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were small and fairly average, not quite the luxurious experience I expected, but some rooms offer fantastic choices, especially if budget allows and include air conditioning, which is a bonus. However, my room was directly above the function room, so I had to endure wedding receptions during my stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was fantastic, close to beautiful views, but the dining options left something to be desired. The service was efficient, though there were occasional issues with timing. The rooms provided great value for money, despite a slight delay in room availability.
The hotel had lovely décor and a clean, refined atmosphere, though noise from the upstairs room was a slight downside. The service was apologetic and delightful, with nothing being too much trouble. The location was ideal for enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Bowness-On-Windermere, although the multiple available desks were somehow overlooked. The dining experience featured good quality produce in a stunning room overlooking the lake. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor hiccups.
